Release builds are the ones the developer's website offers as the main download. Beta builds are test versions published between releases. They get new changes first but can have more bugs.
We downloaded all 11 files on 15 September 2026 and checked each one. Every build is signed with the same NivaRoid certificate as 8.4.6, and every build requires Android 7.0. The SHA-256 under each link lets you confirm your download is that exact file.

How to install an older version
Android doesn't let you install an older version over a newer one, so you need to remove the current app first.
- Note your accounts
Uninstalling removes the accounts saved in Top Follow. Make sure you know the usernames and passwords of your task accounts.
- Uninstall the current Top Follow
Settings › Apps › Top Follow › Uninstall.
- Download the version you want
Tap its file name in the table. Check that the downloaded file's size matches the byte count shown.
- Install and sign in again
Allow "Install unknown apps" if asked, install, then sign in with your task account.
- Don't let it get too old
If the old build shows login or server errors, install the latest version instead. The fix is almost never on your side.
Why old versions stop working
- Coins and orders run on the developer's servers. When the service changes, older builds can stop logging in or syncing coins, even though the app still opens.
- Instagram changes too. Login and task flows are updated for Instagram changes, and old builds don't get those fixes.
- Files get removed. The developer removes old files from time to time. We couldn't find any build older than 8.3.4 on its servers, which is why our list starts there.
Old versions for 32-bit phones
This is the main practical reason to use an older build. From 8.4.0 onward, Top Follow only includes code for 64-bit ARM and x86 processors. 8.3.9, 8.3.8 and 8.3.4 also include armeabi-v7a, the code 32-bit ARM phones need. So if an older or budget phone (including many Android Go models) shows "App not installed" for the latest version, 8.3.9 Beta may install where 8.4.x can't.
These are older beta builds, so they may stop connecting to the developer's servers after future changes. They also don't help on Android 6 or older: every Top Follow build we checked requires Android 7.0. If your phone doesn't fit either case, see App not installed.
How to read Top Follow version numbers
The developer writes each version in three ways, which is why other sites seem to disagree:

So "v8.33" on another site means 8.3.3, and "v8.30" means 8.3.0. Both are older than every build in our table. A higher build number is always newer.
Why file sizes jump around
The 8.3.4 beta is 22 MB, while every build from 8.3.8 onward is 8.5–10.4 MB. The app became much smaller between those versions. This explains why some sites still list Top Follow as "22 MB" or "15–25 MB": they're describing, or hosting, an old build. When you download from anywhere else, compare the exact byte count with this table. A size that matches no official build is a warning sign.

Which Top Follow version works on 32-bit phones?
8.3.9 Beta is the newest build that includes 32-bit ARM (armeabi-v7a) code. 8.3.8 and 8.3.4 do too. From 8.4.0 onward, Top Follow supports 64-bit phones only.
Are these old versions official and safe?
They're the developer's own files. We downloaded all 11, and each is signed with the same NivaRoid certificate as the latest release. Compare the SHA-256 shown in the table with your download to be sure it's the same file.
Can I install an old version over the new one?
No. Android blocks downgrades. Uninstall the current Top Follow first, then install the older APK. Your saved accounts are removed in the process.
Is Top Follow 8.3.3 or 8.3.0 available?
Not from the developer. The oldest build still on its servers is 8.3.4 Beta. Files labelled 8.3.0 or 8.3.3 on other sites can't be compared against an official copy.
What is the difference between Release and Beta?
Release builds are the developer's main, stable downloads. Beta builds are test versions published between releases. They include newer changes but may be less stable.
Why is my old Top Follow version not working?
Old builds can lose compatibility with the developer's servers or with Instagram changes. Install the latest version to fix login, coin and connection errors.
