Check the file is genuine
This takes a minute and protects you from fake "Top Follow" files. There are three levels, from easiest to most thorough:
- Compare the size
In your download list, the file should be 9.2 MB. A file with a different size isn't version 8.4.6, even if it's named that way.
- Compare the SHA-256
On Android, use any checksum or hash-checker app. On Windows, open Command Prompt in your Downloads folder and run
certutil -hashfile TopFollow_v846-Release.apk SHA256. The result must matchac0b993e1b61a6b3abc3f449c55a05955a3bf6e5e18fe61e49e23b9628b988beexactly. - Check the signature (advanced)
With Android SDK build tools, run
apksigner verify --print-certs TopFollow_v846-Release.apk. The certificate SHA-256 digest must beD8:45:59:1E:08:60:33:A9:03:5F:D6:B6:6C:3C:3D:73:AA:33:AF:90:79:4D:6B:98:6E:64:77:9E:EA:6B:EC:5E(without the colons). Future versions keep this certificate even though the file hash changes.
How to install it
- Start the download
Tap the green button. Chrome shows "This type of file can harm your device" for every APK. That's a general warning, not a detection. Tap Download anyway.
- Open the file
Tap the finished download in the notification bar, or open Files › Downloads.
- Allow "Install unknown apps"
Android 8 and later asks once per app. Turn on Allow from this source for Chrome (or your file manager), then go back.
- Tap Install
If Google Play Protect shows a message about an unrecognised app, choose More details › Install anyway, or send the app for scanning first if you prefer.
- Open Top Follow

Updating an older Top Follow
Install the new APK over the old one and your data stays. Android allows this only if both files are signed with the same certificate. So:
- Old copy from the developer: just install 8.4.6 over it.
- Old copy from a mod or mirror site: Android shows "App not installed" or "package conflicts with an existing package". Uninstall the old one first, then install this file.
Top Follow can't update itself through Google Play, so check back here or on our old versions page, which lists every release still on the developer's server.
The beta build
The developer's server also has a beta file, TopFollow_v845-Beta.apk (10.4 MB, uploaded 5 September 2026). It's a test build published before the 8.4.6 release. Since the 8.4.6 release is newer and more stable, we recommend the release. We haven't hash-checked the beta, so it isn't our main download, but it's listed with every other build on the old versions page.
Won't download or won't install?

Frequently asked questions
Is this the official Top Follow download?
The file is the official one: it's the same file the developer's website links to, downloaded from the developer's server and signed with the developer's certificate. This website is not official. We're an independent guide that links to that file.
Why don't you host the APK yourselves?
Hosting copies means old versions pile up and files can be swapped without anyone noticing. By linking to the developer's file and publishing its fingerprint, you always get the genuine build, and you can verify it yourself.
How big is the Top Follow APK?
Version 8.4.6 is 9231182 bytes, about 9.2 MB. After installation, the app and its data take a little more space.
Does Top Follow work on Android 6?
No. Version 8.4.6 requires Android 7.0 (API level 24) or newer.
Can I download Top Follow from the Play Store?
No. It's only distributed as an APK file. Play Store apps with similar names are different products.
