There's no working Top Follow mod. Coins are stored on the developer's server, so an edited app can't add any. Mod files can't carry the developer's signature, and some exist to collect Instagram logins. Use the official 8.4.6 file instead.
What a "mod APK" is
A mod is a copy of an app that someone has unpacked, edited, and packed back up. For offline games that can unlock features, because everything happens on your phone. Top Follow is different: it's a front end for an online service. Your phone shows buttons and numbers, but the developer's server decides your coin balance, which orders exist, and who gets followers.
What mods promise, and what actually happens

The real risks of installing a mod
- Your Instagram login. The official app signs you in on Instagram's page. A modified app can put a look-alike login screen in front of you, and you wouldn't see the difference.
- Hidden code. Once an app is repacked, anything can be added: ad fraud, extra permissions, or code that downloads more apps later.
- Banned from the service. The developer's server may reject accounts that use altered copies of the app.
- Stuck on a dead build. A mod is signed with a different key, so the official update won't install over it until you uninstall and lose your saved accounts.
How to tell a mod from the official file
Every genuine Top Follow release is signed with NivaRoid's certificate. Nobody else can produce that signature without the developer's private key, so it's the most reliable test:

To check a certificate, run apksigner verify --print-certs file.apk from Android SDK build tools and compare the SHA-256 digest. Easier: compare the file's SHA-256 with our download page.
Already installed a mod?
- Uninstall it
Settings › Apps › Top Follow (or whatever it's called) › Uninstall.
- Change the password of every Instagram account you signed in with
Then check Instagram's Accounts Centre › Password and security › Where you're logged in, and remove unknown devices.
- Turn on two-factor authentication

Frequently asked questions
Does Top Follow Mod APK really give unlimited coins?
No. Coin balances are kept on the developer's server. A modified app can only change what your screen shows, and orders beyond your real balance fail.
Is Top Follow Mod APK safe?
No. It can't be verified against the developer's signature, it can contain added code, and a modified login screen could capture your Instagram password.
Is Top Follow Pro or Premium real?
The developer's website lists no "Pro" or "Premium" edition of Top Follow, only the free app. Files named Top Follow Pro or Premium come from other people.
How can I check if my Top Follow is original?
Compare the file's SHA-256 with ac0b993e1b61a6b3abc3f449c55a05955a3bf6e5e18fe61e49e23b9628b988be for version 8.4.6, or check that the signing certificate's SHA-256 is D8:45:59:1E:08:60:33:A9:03:5F:D6:B6:6C:3C:3D:73:AA:33:AF:90:79:4D:6B:98:6E:64:77:9E:EA:6B:EC:5E. If the official update installs over your app without "App not installed", it's official too.
